Community Outreach to Veterans

Our mission is to promote the welfare of blinded veterans so that, notwithstanding their disabilities, they may take their rightful place in the community and work with their fellow citizens toward the creation of a peaceful world.

The Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs is the state agency that is mandated by state statute to assist veterans and their family members and survivors in securing any benefits they may be entitled to because of service in the military. The Division does this by serving as a central source of information on veterans benefits, rights and issues; and by training, directing and assisting the county veterans service officers who are the local veterans assistance agencies in every county in Colorado.

Our mission is to provide Veterans and transitioning service members with the resources and services to succeed in the 21st Century workforce by meeting labor-market demands with qualified Veterans.

The Denver County Veteran Services Office provides services to veterans who are residents of the City and County of Denver.

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s mission is to maximize the value of employment, training and workers’ compensation services; dispute resolution processes; and public and workplace protections to our customers and stakeholders. Our work, which is customer-oriented and results-driven, fosters economic growth by supporting businesses and workers.

Since its founding more than 80 years ago, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) has been dedicated to a single purpose: building better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families. Fidelity to that mission has required DAV to respond creatively and flexibly to changing and sometimes unpredictable challenges faced by its constituency. Whether disabled veterans have needed a voice on Capitol Hill, a nationwide service program, a transportation network or unique rehabilitation opportunities, DAV has focused its attention and resources to meet those needs.

Our Mission is to promote the development of a positive relationship between employers and those employees who serve in the guard and reserve, and serve as a resource for information related to the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.

The Mission of the Family Outreach Coalition will be to provide support for Displaced American Veterans, Cancer Patients,Low Income Families, and Disaster Victims with help in getting Housing, Job's, Food, Personal Products, Clothing, and other essential items needed to support families in need.

Gold Star Wives of America, Incorporated is an organization of widows and widowers whose spouses died while on active duty in the military services or as the result of a military service connected cause.

We are advocates for veterans, their families and survivors.

The responsibility of Veteran's Services is to provide high-quality, professional guidance and assistance to Park County veterans and their dependents in obtaining their rightful entitlements from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as other federal and State agencies.
