Overview

This position will join a team which has responsibilities for assembly, inventory control, labelling, and kitting of products. It includes completing documentation and review to meet Waters Analytical Standards & Reagents (ASR) specifications. Quality and attention to detail are top priority.

Responsibilities

Assembly/Production

  • Fulfilling assembly orders in SAP to meet customer delivery dates.
  • Kitting and transportation of Waters ASR Kits (finished goods) to meet on-time delivery.
  • Documentation and peer review of assembly process.
  • Inventory control and goods movement of products via SAP.
  • Preparation and transportation of finished goods orders via SAP.
  • Assist with labelling, organization and storage of Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Assist in other areas when required.

Quality

  • Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specification by ensuring proper packaging, labelling and documentation of final assembled products.
  • Focus on process control to avoid customer impacted Service Requests.
  • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.
  • Review others' work to prevent errors from escaping.
  • Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs to avoid variation in process.
  • Assist team in updating and improving processes and updating SOPs documents.
  • Assist team in constant improvement and solutions to problems/issues while increasing efficiency.
Qualifications
    • High School Education or GED required. Experience working/intern in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.
    • Ability to work with your hands requiring dexterity to handle small containers and packaging materials.
    • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problem solving.
    • Ability to review work and find errors.
    • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
    • Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently.
    • Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Experience with SAP preferred but not required
